Viking Venture invests in GasSecure
Viking Venture III has invested in GasSecure, a company which is to develop and sell the world´s first wireless gas detector. The new product will be produced at a lower cost and offer greater flexibility than today´s wired alternative. GasSecure is based on technology developed by Norwegan SINTEF ICT.
Viking Venture has invested in the company along with a consortium of investors including SINTEF Venture, Proventure Seed and Investinor. In total the company will receive an investment of NOK 33 million.
The company is founded and headed by CEO Knut Sandven and CTO Håkon Sagberg and is located in Oslo.
