The aim of the well is to determine the commerciality of the Beam oil discovery and will be located 50 km northwest of the Yme Field in the North Sea using the rig West Alpha.

The well is operated by BG on the behalf of the PL 407 license group, which Spring Energy has a 20% working interest in.
