The Nordic group Eniro, which owns Gule Sider, Kvasir og Telefonkatalogen, uses myVR Software for all of their online map solutions in the Nordic region. They picked VR software because it has good functionality and technology that allows quick viewing with high resolution which increases the users´ experience.

Map services are becoming increasingly popular among Internet users. The constant fight for users’ attention means that more and more companies are adding greater functionality to their online maps. An example to draw upon is 3D street pictures. With street photos, you can navigate around the map using real images. It can be useful if you are buying property and want to take a closer look at your neighborhood, or if you going to a resort and wish to see what other hotels are in the area. Eniro has thus choesen to focus on street pictures in 3D is part of their efforts to improve online usability.

myVR Software's patented technology makes it possible to view the 3D geometry and graphics over networks with limited bandwidth (256 kbps) and on all types of platforms. The special streaming technology is made so smart that the viewer adjusts itself automatically to the PC and broadband capacity, so that even older computer equipment could be used – all without losing the high resolution and "3D feeling."

The company was founded in 2003 and is owned by Viking Venture and its employees.
