Sotkamo Silver receives EUR 2.7 million venture investment
Finnish Industry Investment, Teknoventure Management and Swedish private investors have invested a total of EUR 2.7 million in an acquisition where Silver Resources Oy merged with Swedish company Gexco AB, a company listed on Stockholm’s NMG Equity exchange.
The company’s name was changed to Sotkamo Silver AB after the merger. The new name will be adopted during August this year.
The companies´ main project is the Taivaljärvi deposit in the Sotkamo area of northern Finland, which consists mainly of silver, but also includes zinc, lead and gold.
