Sarsia Seed´s portfolio companies Sorbwater and Weyland have been nominated for the final for DnB Nor Innovation Prize 2010, region Western Norway.

Sorbwater develops a water purification technology, based on application of the natural bio-polymer alginate, while Weyland is based in Bergen and develops a new technology for production of cellulostic ethanol.

In total, Five companies are nominated for the award and the winner will be awarded a grant and nominated for the DnB Nor Innovation Prize 2010 national final.
