Ratos has increased its holding in the Swedish in-store communication company HL Display by acquiring 28.2 per cent of the capital from the Remius family. Ratos has also made an offer to acquire the outstanding shares in the company for SEK 49 per share.

Following the transaction, Ratos will hold 57 per cent of the capital in HL Display and 79.1 per cent of the votes.

HL Display is a leading European supplier of products and solutions for in-store communication and merchandising with 1,100 employees in 33 countries and distributors in a further 13 countries. In 2009 HL Display reported revenues of SEK 1 360 million and operating profit (EBITA) of SEK 86 million.
