New International PE and VC Valuation Guidelines Endorsed

New international private equity and venture capital valuation guidelines have been endorsed by 21 European and Non-European Associations.

The Europeam Venture Capital Association along with the British Venture Capital Associaltion and the Association Française des Investisseurs en Capital (AFIC), have published the names of the regional and national associations that have already endorsed the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines. In addition to 15 European national associations, they include five non-European associations of Africa, Australia, Hong Kong, Russia, South Africa and the International Limited Partners Association (ILPA).

The guidelines are set out as recommendations, intended to represent current best practice, on the valuation of private equity and venture capital investments. The recommendations are intended to be applicable across the whole range of private equity funds from seed and start-ups to buyout and growth/development capital.
