Meru Networks Inc., a US-based developer of wireless infrastructure solutions, has filed for an USD 86.25 million IPO.

The company plans to trade on the NYSE under ticker symbol MERU, and BoA Merrill Lynch will be serving as lead underwriter.

The company has raised over USD 160 million in VC funding since 2002, from prominent private equity players such as Clearstone Venture Partners, Vision Capital, NeoCarta Ventures, BlueStream Ventures, The D. E. Shaw Group, Tenaya Capital, Evercore Partners and Monitor Ventures.

Meru Networks is currently part of Verdane Capital's portfolio.
