Investinor AS is investing up to NOK 15 million in the IT company Numascale AS . Numascale develops and sells technology that increases the output of standard hardware.

Numascale has come a long way in developing solutions that will give server clusters the same output and functionality as high cost mainframe systems. This will not only mean cheaper data power per investment dollar, but will also have significant environmental effects, including reduced energy use for those needing high calculating capacity.

Investinor now owns 29 percent of the company.
