Inventure Capital set to launch new fund

A new cleantech venture fund is in the pipeline after Inventure Capital has been prequalified by Vækstfonden to receive up to DKK 175 million in government subvention.

Inventure Capital has been granted a conditional commitment of DKK 125-175 million from Vækstfonden as a part of a government growth subvention. The money will be used to raise a new cleantech venture fund. The aim is to establish a fund totaling DKK 300-400 million during spring 2010.

The commitment from Vækstfonden is contingent on that at least a proportionate amount will be raised from private investors. The new cleantech fund will aim to help small Danish cleantech companies towards commercialization and sustainable operations.
