Intera's first fund closes
Intera's first fund closed at MEUR 85 and the fund is committed to develop primarily Finnish businesses, focusing especially on the service sector. Among the investors are Finnish Local Government Pensions Institution and Argentum.
The fund will be focusing on high-growth small and medium sized companies primarily in Finland and capitalise on identified opportunities within the lower middle market segment driven by generation shifts, divestments of non-core operations from larger corporations and privatisations.
The target companies will typically have enterprise values of EUR 20–60 million, equal to revenues in the range of EUR 10-100 million.
Intera has been successful in attracting international investors. Two of the largest investors in Intera Fund I are Argentum and Ferd, both based in Norway.
