Cleantech is an important sector for the Nordic private equity companies. Argentum is well exposed to this vital industry through our portfolio companies and we also supported Connect Nordic´s annual Cleantech Forum.
Many established Norwegian funds invested in Cleantech companies in 2009, and Connect’s Cleantech Partnership Forum 2009 offered a prime opportunity for a host of Cleantech start-ups to showcase their new ideas and concepts. The companies and concepts were many and varied, and ranged from water purification, nano-lightning, second generation bio ethanol, to renewable energy within the tidal, wind and wave sectors.
