The Norwegian cancer drug development company Clavis Pharma, announced that it had received orphan drug designation from the US Food & Drug Administration, for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Last year, Clavis Pharma was granted an equivalent designation from the European Commission, and these designations will be of great help for Clavis Pharma in the further development of a treatment for pancreatic cancer.
