CapMan invests in care and educational services
CapMan Life Science IV fund, in which CapMan Plc is a substantial investor, has agreed to acquire a majority holding in Swedish-based SRK Konsultation AB (SRK) from the company’s founder, Thomas Björkman, and other shareholders.
SRK provides treatment, residential care, and educational services for young people and adults in Uppsala and the surrounding area. The objective of its current 10 units is to provide a range of help, care, and education to people with complex behavioural problems and thereby enable them to lead a more independent life. The aim of the investment is to continue the company’s expansion elsewhere in Sweden.
A final close of the transaction is subject to certain customary closing conditions and is expected to be finalised by the end of November.
