CapMan exits Avitec
Funds managed by CapMan and 3i today realized their investment in Avitec AB, a Swedish repeater manufacturer. The private equity investor ECI has acquired the company.
Avitec manufactures repeaters for mobile telecommunication networks. The company supplies internationally, and has 64 employees. In 2006 net sales totaled approximately EUR 22 million. Over the recent years Avitec has improved its profitability and is a leading manufacturer within its market segment.
Prior to the exit, funds managed by CapMan held a 43.1% stake in Avitec.
