Bandak acquires Strata Møre
Bandak Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in Strata Marine & Offshore.
Strata Møre was established in 2001 and is located in Aalesund, Norway. The company consists of a highly skilled engineering division and an experienced fabrication division.
The company focuses mainly on the maritime and oil & gas sectors and have customers who are leaders in their fields. In addition, the company is making the renewable energy market a priority.
Strata Møre's fabrication department is a reputable supplier of mechanical components for the shipbuilding industry, particularly on the Norwegian West Coast.
The new group will employ around 300 people.
Herkules Private Equity Fund III is the majority owner with approximately 62 percent of the company shares.
