BVCA publishes annual portfolio performance report
The British Venture Capital Association (BVCA) has, along with Ernst & Young, published their second annual report on the performance of Portfolio Companies.
The Portfolio Companies are a group of large private equity-owned businesses meeting set criteria at the time of acquisition. The report finds emerging evidence that the Portfolio Companies have acheived comparable revenue growth through faster productivity growth, whilst the public benchmark group have grown through faster growth in labour and capital sources.
