Argentum has made its largest commitment to date with their investment of NOK 420 million in HitecVision V. The fund is managed by HitecVision Private Equity who focus on the oil and gas sector, and aim to invest in growing companies within the Norwegian and internationally.

Argentum is investing NOK 420 million in the new fund, representing close to 10 percent of total commitments. The fund closed at USD 800 million.

The new HitecVision fund will invest in growing companies within the oil and gas industry, an industry Argentum still has great faith in. New and improved technology will be an important factor in finding and developing future oil and gas resources.

The process of investing in a private equity fund is a comprehensive and demanding process that includes a significant number of interviews, analysis and negotiations. Argentum, who specialise in screening, assessing and negotiating with private equity funds, have co-operated with both Norwegian and international investors in this investment.
