On the 13th of January 2009, Argentum announced that Tom Knoff will replace Widar Salbuvik as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Salbuvik has been a member of the Board since Argentum’s establishment in 2001. He served as Vice Deputy of the Board from 2001 – 2004, and has been Chairman of the Board since 2004. Knoff is a partner in Norscan Partners AS, and sits on the Board of several companies. He holds a Master’s Degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) and an MBA from the University of Rochester.

It was also announced  that  Joergen C. Arentz Rostrup will become a new member of the Board of Directors. Rostrup is the Executive Vice President Hydro’s Energy Business Area.. He holds a MBA  from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
