ESI Group acquires Efield

The French ESI Group, a leading provider in virtual prototyping, has aquired KTH Seed Capital's portfolio company Efield.

Efield was established in 2006 and has developed a set of solutions for virtual simulation of electromagnetic emissions. The Swedish company has 5 employees and a client base that includes Saab AB, BAE Systems, Ericsson and the China Helicopter Institute. Efield had revenues of approximately EUR 0.4 million in 2010.

KTH Seed Capital was Efield's largest shareholder. The fund invested in Efield in the summer of 2006.
