Tokmanni

Tokmanni Oy is one of the leading non-food discount store chains in Finland. The company was formed in November 2004, when a new company founded by CapMan’s funds acquired the business and assets of two discount store chains, Vapaa Valinta and Tokmanni.

In 2005 the Milleri Säästökuoppa chains were acquired, and in January 2006 Tokmanni acquired the Tarjoustalo, MaxiMakasiini and Robinhood chains. Today Tokmanni operates 113 retail stores covering most of Finland excluding Lappland and Ostrobothnia. CapMan entered the company September 2004. The CEO of Tokmanni owns 23,8 % of the shares.
