Silex was founded in October 2000, but CapMan invested first in Q4 2001. The investment is syndicated with VC- investor startup Factory. Silex Microsystems AB delivers MEMS-based sensors, actuators and precision structures for use in different application areas.

The company’s core competence is the know-how of the MEMS technology. Selex’s offering consists of designing, developing and manufacturing of components using MEMS technology. The company is situated in Järfälla, north of Stockholm, with a subsidiary in Boston, US. Silex has a very international customer base.
