The company serves primarily the greater Stockholm area and the Stockholm County Council as well as other county councils in Sweden. The company was founded in 2000 by the management and personnel through Nacka Läkarkonsortium AB och Praktikertjänst AB.  CapMan Buyout Fund VIII aquired 80 % ownership in July 2007 and owns together with the management who holds the remaining 20%.
